Intrepid Greece

In 2025, I was commissioned by Intrepid Travel and Hardie Grant to create Intrepid Greece, a travel guide celebrating the country's landscapes, food, history and local culture.

Working closely with the publisher, I researched and wrote the book, shaped its editorial direction, contributed original photography, and sourced additional imagery to help bring the stories to life. The result is a guide that encourages readers to experience Greece beyond the well-trodden tourist trail, with a focus on authentic places, people and experiences.

Whether it's your first time exploring the country, or you're looking for a chance to uncover new corners and experiences, this guide is not simply a checklist of things to do, but instead offers insight into the tapestry of things that make Greece unforgettable – its rich history, art and architecture; diverse landscapes; beautiful islands; famous street food and delicious gourmet experiences; and game-changing nature experiences, festivals and events. From Athens to the Ionian Islands and everything in between, this guide will provide all the inspiration, ideas and information you need to discover a different side of the country, or catch those iconic Greek destinations from a new perspective.
